Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications for Income Tax Department Recruitment 2025
To apply for this Income Tax Data Processing Assistant, Grade B position, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification
Required Qualification is needed from any one of the following
- Master’s degree in CA (Computer Application)/ Computer Science/ M.Tech in Computer Application or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) or B.Tech in Computer Engineering (or) Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Degree in Computer Applications like BCA or Computer Science or in ECE from a recognized university, 2 years experience in electronic data processing, and experience in actual computer programming.
- Master’s degree PG from a recognized university or an equivalent, or Engineering Degree from a recognized university or equivalent 3 years experience in electronic data processing with experience in actual computer programming.
- A – Level Diploma under the DOEACC Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course Programme or Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Computer, 3 years experience in the same field like the above paragraph
- Officers from the Central Government (or) State Government department or Union territories or other work experience are required, to check official Income Tax Recruitment notifications.
Age limit for Income Tax Recruitment 2025
Applicants’ age limit should be between a minimum of 18 years to a maximum of 56 years of age as of the last date of notification.
Age relaxations will also be applicable as per government regulations for candidates from the reserved categories.
